Dr. Orla McGeary

Clinical Background & Biography

Dr. Orla McGeary qualified with Honours in Bachelor of Dental Science from Trinity College Dublin in 1996 and was awarded the prestigious Costello Memorial Medal. She worked as a House Officer in Dublin Dental Hospital for one year before joining private dental practice in 1998.

In 2004, Orla was awarded Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MFD RCSI), and in 2012 she was awarded Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons in England (MJDF RCS Eng).

She is Past President of the Irish Dental Benevolent Society and Past Honorary Secretary of The Metropolitan Branch of The Irish Dental Association. Dr. McGeary is also a founding member of the Irish Faculty of Primary Dental Care and constantly updates her knowledge with cutting-edge postgraduate clinical training.

Community & Interests: Dr. McGeary actively volunteers with The Irish Coast Guard (Howth Unit) and serves as a trained Community First Responder. Outside the clinic, she is an avid cyclist, hiker, skier, and passionate foodie.
